Tonights..
I have all the determination to do my PP poster. Finally gather up all the focus and energy to do. Very confident that I can do it within 2 hours. Took an evening nap. Woke up, breeze through with RJ and stuffs. Went to download my PP report through internet. BUT. School PP server down. I was like.. @#$%^&^%$#@
This is an perfect example of what my father has told me when I help him in his work. For the benefit for thoes who still donno what am I working as, to say it simply, I am a sales agent that goes to your house and take a look at your sofa and advice you for upholstery. What does upholstery means?

Ok. My dad told me this. (some drama is there, but the content is 100% there)
" Son, in business or in ANY situation, we cannot plan things in a way that it is just nice. Things will cock up no matter how well you plan things. You need to have allowance in ANYTHING you plan. If you set a delivery in the morning, upexpected things might be there to prevent you to deliver your goods on time, like an accident on the road that cause jams. There's nothing you can do about it."
If you guys still do not get my point, it basically means :
- Do not plan things too tightly
- Have time allowance in everything you do
Yea. This is what I have learnt from my dad. Quite chim huh? So, my allowance is going to be extend to Friday. I will do it and get my poster done by hook or crook no matter what.
This led me to another thing I have learnt. Suddenly thought of it. Saying Sorry. This is a powerful words sometimes. If you guys are interested, please read on. =)
Few years back, I was having my first job as a waiter at Quality Hotel Singapore. There was this manager, Mr Geogery Chan. Heard he passed away a year ago. =x Anyway, he taught me alot of things. What is Iced Water, what is finger bowl and many more. There is one thing I learnt from him that sinks deep down in me. There was this night, I was the hostess of the cafe, and there was a VERY LONG QUEUE. So what I can do is go down the queue to ask for the number of people per group going in so that I can plan seats for them when the next table is available. 20 mins gone and Mr Chan saw the situation has not improve. There was still many unhappy faces, customers were waiting too long.
So, Mr Chan said to me. "Joe, go and tell every one sorry for waiting."
Me : " Huh? "
Mr Chan : What huh, go say to them now."
I was like. WTH?!?!? Why say sorry!? Being afraid of him, I still went, customer by customer, telling them sorry, obviously with a smile. Some customer smiled back to me saying "its ok, its not your fault, you did a good job." Than I realise why Mr Chan wanted me to do this. If a situation is not flavourable to you, or you have made others felt unhappy because of a situation, be brave to say sorry. Although its not my fault, but I create Quality Cafe a good impression for people to dine in. I am happy for the service that I have done.
This carries on to Famos Amos, saying sorry to customers when you dont have enough change for them or you have pack the wrong cookies. Saying sorry when the cookies is not done yet and ask them to come back 20 mins later.
Back to Prospex Decorating. Same goes. If the appointment does not goes as plan, say sorry and propose a new appointment date. Customers will understand. They will be glad to accept your apology and meet up again to discuss on a deal.
In life. Same goes too. If something does not goes your way on how you plan, say sorry/paisehs/su-i-ma-seh/ etc. to the people affected. Yes, sometimes it may not be your fault, but, its always good to apologise first before explaining to the parties affected why is there cock up if there is any.
Anyway, to GF. Jiayous in doing ur maths tonights ok? =) Thou I cannot be by your side and pei you. But the moral support is always there. Thou I may complain sometimes that you no time tok to me, but I understand why you are busy. Sorry for my irritating attitude on you for the past few days if there is any and hope you do well! As I have thought and said, " I believe that you will have time for US". This will be the phrase I will be reminding myself always. You continue doing your things and take care at the same time! If can, I will pop by and get you some chocolates. xD
